Having the BreedELITE Sheep Software there, it’s a massive brain dump that frees up room for thought, growth, new ideas and planning. We’ve gone from having all of our information in multiple notebooks per year, having multiple ear tags in the sheep, and now all of that information is kept on the BreedELITE Software where we can access it at the press of a button, dial in the sheeps numbers, scan the ear tag with a wand or put it through the drafter. Whatever we need to do, it’s there in an instant.

Using the BreedELITE Sheep System, we sent the information away to Merino Select and got back our first set of data and it was amazing. We were just blown away with how high our first drop was. Prior to testing and measuring in terms of breeding values we didn’t really know where we sat. Now we’ve set a goal that within 5 years, none of the rams we use will be outside the top 10% in the country for the fibre production index that we use to benchmark our flock. Some of them will even be top 1% in Australia.

How much does the BreedELITE Sheep System cost?

We have a range of pricing options to suit your needs. No matter where you are at on your sheep technology journey, the System can grow with you...if you aren't sure that you are ready for the 'Full System start with the Software. When you are ready different components can be added with the knowledge that they will all work together. Typically pricing includes an up-front investment for the Technology and a small yearly subscription that covers the Software and Support. This is all discussed with you on your Sheep Technology Audit provided we feel the BreedELITE Sheep System is a good fit for your business.

I don't breed my own rams. Will this System be too complex for me?

The BreedELITE Sheep System is just as useful to Commercial or Feedlot Producers as they are to the Studs in the top 1% in Australia. The BreedELITE Sheep Software is fully customisable, so you can turn off data fields that aren't relevant to you, making the screen clutter free and easy to use. We will take you through this process as part of the on-boarding so that you are ready to go. If you are unsure at any stage, give us a call we will be happy to help you out.

I am not that good with computers, or, I've found other software hard to use, will I be ok?

If you have navigated to this website and you can press the book phone call button, you can use the BreedELITE Sheep Software. We understand there is a learning curve with anything new, but simplicity is our goal. Complex software is easy to make, simplicity is hard and takes specialist skill, knowledge, and a desire to spend the time making Software intuitive and easy to use. Irrespective of your capability, our team is there to support you each step of the way and will spend as much time with you as you need to achieve your desired results. We are always just a phone call away.

Can I just purchase the Software?

Certainly! The BreedELITE Sheep Software comes with a tablet and is the engine for all other BreedELITE Technologies. It is the back bone of the BreedELITE Sheep System. In its own right the BreedELITE Sheep Software is a fully fledged pedigree and performance recording software that has the capability and simplicity to suit sheep farmers from hobby farms, through to large commercial producers all the way to the top studs in Australia. The beauty of our system, is that you only have to deal with one company as your needs increase. You can start with the Software, and then implement the Smart Reader, buy all your tags and other peripheral devices through BreedELITE knowing they will work seamlessly with the Software and be fully supported. As your needs expand and you continue to see the results you may choose to invest in the Smart Drafter to really streamline and simplify your data management.

What happens if I need help?

You will have access to our dedicated Members Area on the website as well as the BreedELITE Community. We have a multitude of support videos walking you through most of the actions in the Software, as well as handy hints for getting the most from our technology. If you still need help, we will be on the other end of the phone to assist you. Our team has remote access capability and if you consent can control your computer remotely to speed up more complex support tasks and have you completing your important jobs sooner. It is as good as having us standing next to you without having to wait for someone to drive there!.

You talk about the importance of support. Does that mean I always have to call you?

Nobody likes to have to rely on other people to be able to do their jobs. Through the on-boarding process we will get you up and running and self sufficient as quickly as possible. Our focus is on helping you achieve your goals and ensure you feel supported throughout the journey. Many of our users rarely need our assistance. Others we hear from more regularly which is totally ok. We understand that sometimes things go wrong, or you are stuck and you just need someone who can help you. Someone who knows what is going on, and knows how to fix it. Every other time, we expect that you find our products super simple and intuitive, and that you can do what you need to do by yourself. If something isn't working for you we want to hear about it. It may be that we make changes to it in the next Software upgrade. That's what SUPPORTED SIMPLICITY means to us.

Where are you based?

We are proudly South Australian Owned and Operated. All of our Software development and support is provided in house, our Smart Drafters are made in South Australia and Certified Australian Made. We love employing local people and using Australian Steel wherever we can. We ship directly from Adelaide to anywhere in Australia.

Do you sell your products to anyone?

Our products are for progressive Stud, Commercial and Feedlot Producers looking to do more with data. During your Sheep Technology Audit we will understand your goals and needs and identify if our products can support you and that you are prepared to implement the advice we provide to get the most out of your products. We value the relationship with our clients and are committed to helping them succeed, however we only work with people who are willing to implement the recommendations we make (on the tech and data side of things). Our products are not for people who aren't willing to learn a new system, don't think technology is useful and don't want elite sheep. Our technology enables farmers to push their sheep farming forward, and we expect our clients to push us forward too by using our products and making suggestions where we can improve our service and products.

I don't have phone signal in my yards, is this an issue?

Things go wrong, and sometimes you just need help. Being Software Controlled allows the BreedELITE Sheep System to remotely control your computer and show you live on screen how to achieve what you are wanting to do. This requires an internet connection, either through WIFI or utilising your phone as the internet (Hotspot). If you have good enough signal to make phone calls easily where you will be using the System we can help. Without phone signal in the yards it can get tricky, especially if you don't consider yourself tech savvy. If this is the case for you please raise it during your Sheep Technology Audit. You may need to consider that support may take longer than it could if phone signal was available.
